Quality policy
Quality is one of the most important concepts at Nanuk.
Every day the greatest efforts are made by all the employees to produce completely safe and healthy end products. These efforts are carried out according to an in-house manual describing our integral quality system.
Our company is indeed EC certified (B118, B334, B334-H, KF395, UD1011, VE1200, VE2057). Apart from these certificates, HACCP standards and IFS standards form a solid basis for our integral quality system. It is obvious that quality starts with the purchase of the raw materials. Firstly, all our suppliers are audited to check whether they meetour strict standards of hygiene and quality before being accepted as a supplier. Strict rules are also applied to the production. Every employee must correctly apply to the internal hygiene regulations. In addition, certain process controls are applied on a regular basis to guarantee a consistent production process. These controls are made possible throughextremely modern machinery using the latest production techniques .
These actions mentioned above make up our integral quality control system. The system is also regularly subjected to testing to ensure efficiency and continuity. This testing is done by means of customer audits, audits by external organisations and in-houseaudits. Our finished products are continually monitored by means of analyses by externally authorised laboratories. In July 2006, all these day-to-day efforts resulted in the company obtaining IFS certificate version 4, higher level and in 2009 IFS certificate version 5, higher level. Meanwhile, in 2010, we also obtained the IFS certificate.
In other words, our biggest daily concern is taking careof your health and safety!!
